One autumn evening, a fire broke out in the only school in the province of Saint-André and destroyed it completely. Johann, a thirteen-year-old boy who was still inside, is missing. There is consternation. No trace of the little boy is found, everyone thinks is dead. Transported to another world, on the continent of Onirix, among the Menz people, Johann, then endowed with great powers, was entrusted with a great mission: to find the manuscripts of the Book of Worlds stolen for two centuries by the witch Theuz.
Marie Desvignes was born in 1961 at Port de Bouc in the South of France. A poet, short-story writer, novelist and painter, she holds a Master’s degree in Letters from the University of Aix-en-Provence. Editor at the journal Legs et Littérature, she is the author of an essay La littérature à la portée des enfants (2000), a poetic story: Requiem (2013) and a collection of poems Langue interdite, langue amère (2018).
