Long before the Independence of Chile, in Monte Rey lived a beautiful young woman called Añañuca. She loved loneliness and did not know love. Until one day a miner came looking for a lost treasure. He did not find this treasure, but he found something much better: Añañuca’s love.

Through a captivating text and images, the authors manages to give life to this legend that narrates the origin of this typical flower of Chile that is mainly in the flowery desert.
