A young woman travels on a road to a mountain she doesn’t know. On her way she will travel through different scenarios until she finds what led her there. The heart on the mountain tells us the story of a quest, an encounter and a healing, in which teamwork, respect for science, ancestral wisdom and love for all the beings who inhabit the world prevail. Nature is sick and the heart of the world can no longer beat as before. Could they save him among all?

This book is the result of a year of work with scientists from the Millennium Core Cardio UC, an agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation of the Government of Chile. A current and hot topic as cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death worldwide. More people die each year from one of these diseases than from any other cause. At a time when environmental pollution is reaching its historical limits, this book tells us about the need to protect our health and the health of nature. It also allows us to talk about the importance of the environment and the need to preserve nature reserves, soil and air, minimizing pollution in cities. A precise text, accompanied by the powerful illustrations of a young author with extensive experience; the strength of her visual narrative moves and leaves no reader indifferent.
